No one wants an argument or to start their personal vendetta against someone from campus (for political, cultural reasons.)

 

What's The Solution: You don't always have a peaceful exit. The most popular methods aren't as appealing but have worked pretty well here or, really, at places for student demonstrations - like IIT. Most universities also recognize what happened at CalArts, Yale. But they want more - not less. Students deserve peaceful exit plans that reflect our values; that give them the chance to feel included after the speech that's scheduled early or with only some friends or faculty/students/guys left outside at midnight for most protest. Don't fall asleep waiting for things like last minute prepping after the speech. What are your options if the space you'd intended to leave is empty? Try an outside space?
